Summer Lemon Pie Recipe

Nothing says summer quite like a homemade lemon pie! Creating this delectable dish doesn’t have to cost a fortune, or a ton of preparation. You can bake a professionally done pie with less than five ingredients, and all under $10. I’ve made this pie recipe for my family and various gatherings nearly a dozen times, and it always gets rave reviews! If you have about forty minutes to spare, this will be your new favorite dessert recipe, I promise!

What you’ll need:

  • 2 cans sweetened condensed milk 
  • 4-5 lemons 
  • 2 eggs 
  • 1 Graham cracker pie crust 
  • Lemon zester 


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. While your oven is heating, combine your two cans of sweetened condensed milk in a bowl with 2 tbsp of lemon zest. Use the same lemons to squeeze ¾ c lemon juice into the bowl. If you go a little over, that’s okay, it’ll just make it a little more tart. Crack in two eggs and combine into the mixture. Pour evenly into your graham cracker crust and bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours and serve. For an added sweet touch, top with whipped cream.
